Karachi (HRNW) – The Boat Basin Police Station of District South Karachi Police has conducted a successful operation and arrested a suspect allegedly involved in a house robbery case, recovering a stolen mobile phone and an illegal weapon from his possession.
According to police, the arrested suspect has been identified as Ajay Kumar son of Suresh Kumar, who was wanted in FIR No. 518/2026 registered at Boat Basin Police Station under Sections 382/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC).
Police officials stated that the suspect was arrested on the basis of modern CCTV footage analysis and intelligence-based information.
A Vivo mobile phone allegedly stolen during the robbery and a 30-bore pistol along with three live rounds were recovered from the possession of the arrested suspect.
Police further stated that a separate case FIR No. 536/2026 has also been registered against the suspect at Boat Basin Police Station under Section 23(1)(A) of the Arms Ordinance regarding the possession of an illegal weapon.
Authorities said that further investigation is underway to gather information about the suspect’s other criminal activities, possible accomplices, and any links with organized criminal networks.
