Karachi (HRNW) – The Keamari District Police have solved the blind murder case that took place three days ago in Machar Colony, arresting an alleged suspect and the wife of the deceased in connection with the case.
According to police, on 25 July 2026, an unidentified attacker shot Nazeer Ahmed son of Naseebullah in the head near Machar Colony Nala Stop, leaving him critically injured. The victim was shifted to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
Police reached the scene, collected evidence, and registered FIR No. 337/26 under Sections 302/34 of the Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) on the directives of the SSP Keamari. A special investigation team was formed to trace and arrest those involved in the murder.
According to police, the investigation team used technical resources and effective investigation methods to identify the suspects within two days. The police arrested Abidullah son of Akhtar Muhammad, allegedly involved in the murder, along with the deceased’s wife Amina.
Police stated that the alleged murder weapon, a 9mm pistol, was also recovered from the possession of the arrested suspect.
During initial interrogation, police said that accused Abidullah disclosed that he worked with the deceased at a private hotel and had frequent visits to Nazeer Ahmed’s house.
According to the preliminary investigation, police stated that the accused and the deceased’s wife allegedly had a relationship and that both allegedly planned and executed the murder of Nazeer Ahmed.
The arrested suspects have been handed over to the Investigation Unit for further investigation and legal proceedings.
