Naseerabad (HRNW) – In a deeply distressing incident, the Naseerabad Police have recovered a kidnapped woman and her newborn daughter after a successful operation in the Jhal Magsi area.
According to police, Bibi Zahida wife of Nadeem Joya was kidnapped while she was pregnant. During her captivity, she gave birth to a baby girl, who was named Bibi Aliza.
Police stated that CIA Naseerabad In-charge Syed Haider Shah and Babakot Police Station SHO Inspector Ali Nawaz Magsi, on the special directions of DIG Naseerabad Range Kamran Nawaz and SSP Naseerabad Asad Nasir, conducted an operation with a heavy police contingent in the Jhal Magsi area and successfully recovered the abducted woman and her newborn daughter.
According to police, the recovery of the mother and the newborn made the already tragic incident even more painful, as the woman had given birth while allegedly being held captive by kidnappers.
Police said that no arrests were made during the operation; however, further investigation is underway to trace and arrest those involved in the crime.
It is pertinent to mention that around 15 days earlier, more than ten armed individuals allegedly abducted Bibi Zahida from the jurisdiction of Babakot Police Station and injured her husband before fleeing from the scene.
Police officials stated that all aspects of the case are being investigated and efforts are continuing to bring the alleged perpetrators to justice.
