Islamabad (HRNW)- The federal government has decided to keep the prices of petrol and diesel unchanged for the next week following consultations with petroleum companies.
According to sources, despite a decline in global oil prices, petroleum companies urged the government not to reduce domestic fuel prices, citing stock adjustments and potential financial losses. Following these discussions, the government decided to maintain the existing prices instead of announcing an immediate reduction.
Government officials said the market situation, international oil prices and the financial impact would be reviewed over the coming week before any further decision is taken regarding petroleum prices.
