South Waziristan (HRNW)- Pakistani security forces displayed humanitarian assistance during border tensions in the Angoor Adda region of South Waziristan by rescuing a sick Afghan woman and ensuring her safe return to her family.
According to the report, during the ongoing border tensions between Pakistan and Afghanistan, a seriously ill Afghan woman reached the Pakistani side of the border in critical condition. After receiving information about the incident, Pakistani security forces took the woman into safe custody and provided her with first aid, food, rest, and protection.
Later, under the supervision of Pakistani security personnel and tribal elders, the woman was respectfully handed over to her family through the Angoor Adda border crossing. Before her departure, she was also provided with financial assistance and gifts.
The report states that the incident occurred amid heightened border tensions and highlights the humanitarian assistance provided by Pakistani security forces, who ensured the woman’s safety and dignified return while observing humanitarian principles and local traditions.
