Lahore (HRNW)- Light and heavy rains were recorded in various districts of Punjab, especially in Lahore, bringing a noticeable drop in temperature and turning the weather pleasant. Strong winds accompanied the rain, providing much-needed relief to citizens. Intermittent showers continued across different parts of Lahore, with the Meteorological Department reporting the highest rainfall in Tajpura at 8 mm and Johar Town at 7 mm. Meanwhile, WASA officials have issued an alert due to concerns over possible water accumulation in low-lying areas. MD WASA Ghufran Ahmed has directed all town directors to closely monitor their areas, ensuring drainage staff remain active in the field to handle any emergency situations promptly. According to the Meteorological Department, Lahore’s temperature is expected to range between 25°C and 35°C today, with a mix of sunshine and clouds and chances of further rain in some areas.
