Sachal Police Arrest Three Suspects in Mobile Snatching Gang, Technical Expert Among Accused

Karachi (HRNW) – Sachal Police have arrested three suspects, including a technical expert, during an operation in Bilal Shah Noorani Goth in connection with multiple robbery and mobile snatching incidents. According to details, the suspects were involved in armed robberies and allegedly used advanced methods to unlock mobile phones and change their IMEI numbers to avoid tracking.

During initial interrogation, the suspects reportedly confessed to snatching more than 100 mobile phones along with cash over the past two months. The arrested individuals have been identified as Shahzada son of Mashooq Ali, Nadir Ali son of Sain Bakhsh, and Javed Ali son of Mashooq Ali. Police recovered an illegal pistol, three laptops loaded with software used for IMEI manipulation, more than two dozen stolen mobile phones, and a motorcycle stolen from the Saib police station jurisdiction.

SSP East Zubair Nazir Sheikh stated that the accused were using modern tools and software to facilitate criminal activity. Further investigation is underway to determine their criminal background and possible network links.
