Islamabad (HRNW)- Abbas Araqchi held important talks with Pakistan’s Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on telephonic or diplomatic level.
According to sources, the talks discussed the overall situation in the region, mutual relations and issues related to regional peace and stability. The two sides stressed the need to reduce tensions in the region and further strengthen diplomatic ties.
It was also agreed in the talks that in the context of current regional challenges, continuous communication and cooperation are necessary for the promotion of peace. Details are limited at the official level, however, according to diplomatic sources, the two countries have agreed to continue contacts on matters of mutual interest.
