KARACHI: (HRNW) Governor Sindh Nihal Hashmi has advised the legal team of PTI founder Imran Khan to improve their method of pursuing his court cases, stating during a media talk at Mazar-e-Quaid that the founder’s release is a matter for the judiciary rather than the government. He emphasized that if the court finds the founder innocent, it has the authority to grant a pardon, noting that the government cannot interfere in judicial proceedings. Expressing pride in his affiliation with the PML-N, which he described as the party of Pakistan’s founders, Hashmi remarked that the politics of his leader, Nawaz Sharif, is centered on strengthening the country. He clarified that he does not consider himself above the Constitution and pledged to work alongside Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for the prosperity of Sindh. Earlier, the Governor and Chief Minister, accompanied by provincial cabinet members, visited the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam to offer Fateha and lay floral wreaths.
