Karachi (HRNW)- Several major roads in Karachi were closed for traffic ahead of the Quds Day rally in the city as authorities implemented strict security measures.
According to traffic police, Mai Kolachi Road and MT Khan Road were closed due to security concerns related to the rally. Authorities said the closures were necessary to ensure the safety of participants and maintain law and order.
Traffic officials stated that Boat Basin, Jinnah Bridge, and Mai Kolachi Road were closed from both directions, while both sides from PIDC to Jinnah Bridge and MT Khan Road were also blocked for vehicular movement.
Commuters have been advised to use alternative routes and follow traffic police instructions to avoid inconvenience during the rally.
