Karachi (HRNW) – The Speaker of the Sindh Assembly has officially approved the nominations for the Provincial Advisory Council for Persons with Disabilities. In accordance with the Sindh Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities Act 2018, four members of the provincial assembly have been appointed to serve on the council.
The nominated members include MPA Mohammad Asif and MPA Faisal Rafiq, who have been appointed as council members to represent and empower persons with disabilities. Additionally, female lawmakers Sumeta Afzal Syed and Bilquis Mukhtar have also been included in the council. The Secretary of the Sindh Assembly has issued the formal notification regarding these appointments, enabling the members to assume their duties immediately.
