Karachi (HRNW) — Darakshan Police have claimed to have arrested two individuals in an injured condition following an alleged exchange of fire near Sea View Road in DHA Phase 5.
According to a statement issued by District South Police, a police patrol signalled two suspected individuals to stop near the area. Police said the suspects allegedly opened fire at the police party, prompting retaliatory firing.
The two suspects were injured and subsequently arrested. Police identified them as Jadeon alias J.D., son of Francis, and Peter alias China, son of Lazar.
Police said they recovered two 30-bore pistols, seven live rounds, an Apple laptop allegedly snatched during a robbery, AirPods, purses, a motorcycle allegedly used in the crime and a Foodpanda delivery bag from the suspects.
The injured suspects were shifted to hospital for medical treatment. Further legal action and investigation are underway, according to police.
