Karachi (HRNW) — Police have arrested a suspect following an alleged attempt to engage in an inappropriate act with a minor female madrasa student in Sector 4-D of Surjani Town.
According to police, SSP West took immediate notice of the incident and directed officers to arrest the suspect without delay.
Police said the man allegedly involved in the incident fled the scene initially. However, Surjani Police later took action and arrested a suspect identified as Najaf Ali.
An alleged video purportedly showing the arrested suspect confessing to the incident has also surfaced. Police have registered a case against the suspect and initiated further legal proceedings and investigation.
The victim’s family and local residents have expressed concern over the incident and called for effective measures to protect children and prevent such incidents in the future.
