Islamabad (HRNW)- Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu has reaffirmed that the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) remains fully committed to protecting Pakistan’s sovereignty and airspace while maintaining operational readiness to meet emerging challenges.
Addressing the main Martyrs’ Day ceremony at Air Headquarters Islamabad, the PAF chief paid tribute to the martyrs of the Pakistan Air Force, saying their sacrifices form the foundation of the force’s proud tradition of bravery, professionalism and dedication to national defence.
He said the achievements of Pakistan’s predecessors are a living legacy that places a responsibility on the present generation. He described the martyrs as enduring symbols of courage, sacrifice and national resolve.
The Air Chief highlighted the PAF’s performance during the “Battle of Haq” as a testament to its professional excellence, combat capability and operational efficiency. He stressed the need to strengthen the PAF’s capabilities in space, cyber and electronic warfare, artificial intelligence, advanced technologies and indigenous defence production.
Later, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Babar Sidhu laid a wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial and offered Fateha in memory of the brave PAF martyrs.
