Islamabad (HRNW) The Minister for Housing and Works has agreed with the Interior Minister’s assessment that “the system has failed,” while stating that the government is not a charitable organization.
Speaking at a meeting of the Standing Committee, the Housing Minister said government affairs could not be handled merely on humanitarian grounds and that decisions had to be taken according to established rules and regulations.
He emphasized that the government was not a charity and therefore could not make decisions outside the applicable legal and administrative framework.
The minister’s remarks came during a discussion on government affairs and public issues at the Standing Committee meeting.
