Islamabad (HRNW) — Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has said that the defense agreement between Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, and Türkiye is not aimed at aggression but at promoting peace, security, and prosperity in the region.
Briefing the federal cabinet, the prime minister said the agreement is a continuation of the existing defense cooperation among the three countries.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the protection of the Holy Mosques in Makkah and Madinah is an important responsibility for the people and armed forces of Pakistan.
He also thanked the people of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) for placing their trust in the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) in the elections, saying that the solution to problems can only be achieved through dialogue and negotiations.
