Salman Akram Raja Demands Access to Personal Doctors for Imran Khan

Islamabad (HRNW)- PTI leader and lawyer Salman Akram Raja has demanded that former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan be allowed access to his personal doctors, expressing concern over his health and the uncertainty surrounding his medical care.

Speaking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court, Salman Akram Raja said the Pakistani nation was being deliberately provoked by denying Imran Khan access to his personal physicians.

He said the current situation had created uncertainty and claimed that the PTI founder was suffering from an eye-related health problem.

Salman Akram Raja said that although Imran Khan had been unwell several days ago, his condition had reportedly improved. However, he stressed that Khan should still be examined by his personal doctors.

He said confirmation of Imran Khan’s blood pressure and overall health condition was necessary, adding that his personal doctors do not make political statements and should therefore be allowed to meet him.

Salman Akram Raja questioned why access to Imran Khan’s personal medical team was still being restricted and called for immediate permission for the doctors to examine him.
