Washington (HRNW)- The influential American pro-Israel lobbying group American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC) has decided to stop funding several Democratic members of Congress who voted to limit or halt US military aid to Israel.
According to US media reports, AIPAC removed the names of these lawmakers and the option to provide financial contributions to them from its online donation portal, despite having supported their election campaigns in the past.
Reports indicate that the decision affects at least 15 Democratic members of the House of Representatives, many of whom had previously received AIPAC’s endorsement and support for the upcoming November elections.
