Peshawar (HRNW)- Talented students of Khyber Girls Medical College, Peshawar, achieved remarkable academic success, winning a record number of gold medals and bringing pride to their families and the province.
Among the top achievers, Qandeel Murtaza, daughter of a tailor master from Haripur, delivered an extraordinary performance by winning 17 gold medals, setting a new record at the institution. Her achievement received a standing ovation, and the hall echoed with applause when her name was announced during the award ceremony. Muqaddas also earned 10 gold medals, while Sabeen secured 7 gold medals, highlighting the outstanding academic excellence of the college’s students.
During the ceremony, the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa presented medals to the successful students, while Qandeel’s father stood proudly beside her as the audience applauded her historic achievement. Speaking to the media, he shared that his family has a strong educational background—his second daughter is studying at Khyber Medical College, one daughter serves as a Grade-17 officer in FIA, another has earned a PhD and is working in Islamabad, while his son has completed an engineering degree.
The remarkable success of Qandeel, Muqaddas, and Sabeen is being praised as a symbol of hard work, determination, and academic brilliance, while also serving as a source of inspiration and encouragement for students across the country.
