Islamabad (HRNW)- Pakistani astronauts Khurram Dawood and Muhammad Zeeshan Ali, who are going on a human space mission, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. On this occasion, SPARC astronaut attaché Hasnain Iftikhar was also present, while the meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar, Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar, Special Assistant Syed Tariq Fatemi, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch and Chairman SPARC Muhammad Yousaf Khan. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zedong also participated in the meeting.
Talking to the two astronauts, the Prime Minister said that it was a great pleasure to meet you both, the young astronauts and the astronaut attaché. He said that your departure for research on a space mission is an important milestone for Pakistan and a matter of pride for the entire nation.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif said that he is confident that these astronauts will create a new chapter in the history of Pakistan. He said that due to their hard work and dedication day and night, they have reached this point, which is commendable. The Prime Minister further said that with the cooperation of China, this space mission will add new dimensions to the brotherly relations between Pakistan and China.
