Keamari District: Mochko Checkpoint Police Arrest Inter-Provincial Drug Suppliers

KARACHI (HRNW)- Mochko Checkpoint police, stationed at one of Karachi’s primary entry points, successfully conducted an operation during routine checking, resulting in the arrest of two inter-provincial drug smugglers. A significant quantity of high-quality narcotics was recovered from their possession.

Operation Details:

According to police officials, a suspicious motorcycle arriving from Hub Chowki, Balochistan, was signaled to stop for inspection. Upon searching the suspects, police recovered 5 kilograms and 900 grams (nearly 6 kg) of high-quality hashish (charas). The narcotics, along with the motorcycle used in the crime, have been taken into custody.

Suspect Profiles and Modus Operandi:

The arrested individuals have been identified as Muhammad Fayyaz, son of Chanal Khan, and Muslim, son of Muhammad Aslam. Preliminary investigations reveal that the suspects were smuggling the drugs from Balochistan into Karachi, intended for supply to various parts of the city.

Legal Proceedings:

A case has been registered against the suspects at the Mochko Police Station under the Anti-Narcotics Act. Further investigation is currently underway to trace other members of the drug peddling network operating within the city.
