Iran Allows Turkish Ship to Pass Through Strait of Hormuz

Ankara, Turkey (HRNW) — Iran has allowed a Turkish vessel to pass through the strategic maritime passage of the Strait of Hormuz, according to Turkish authorities.

Abdulkadir Uraloğlu, the transport minister of Turkey, stated that 15 Turkish ships are currently present in the region.

He confirmed that Iran granted permission to one of these vessels to transit through the Strait of Hormuz, and the ship has successfully crossed the strategic waterway.

The Strait of Hormuz is considered one of the world’s most critical maritime chokepoints, through which a significant portion of global energy supplies and international trade passes. Due to rising tensions in the region, developments around this vital route continue to attract global attention.
