KOHAT (HRNW): At least three police personnel, including Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Asad Mahmood, were martyred after unidentified terrorists opened fire on a police mobile on Shakardara Road. According to the District Police Officer (DPO) Kohat, the attackers ambushed the vehicle and subsequently set it on fire before fleeing the scene.
Following the brutal assault, security forces cordoned off the area and intensified patrolling to track down the perpetrators. A massive search operation has been launched in the surrounding suburban areas to apprehend those responsible for the attack. The martyred officers are being hailed for their ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty, as the region remains on high alert.
