TIP NCPS 2025 Police, Procurement, and Judiciary Viewed as Most Corrupt Sectors in Pakistan

Islamabad (HRNW)– According to Transparency International Pakistan (TIP)’s National Corruption Perception Survey (NCPS) 2025, the police, tender and procurement and judiciary are considered the most corrupt sectors in the country by the public, while provincial governments are considered more corrupt than local governments.

According to the survey, 77 percent of people are not satisfied with the government’s measures to curb corruption. The provincial dissatisfaction rate was 80 percent in Balochistan, 78 percent in Punjab, and 75 percent in Sindh and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A positive aspect of the report was that 66 percent of the country’s citizens did not face any situation in which they had to pay a bribe in the last 12 months.

The survey regarding the economic situation revealed that 57 percent of citizens’ purchasing power decreased during the last year, while 43 percent considered it to have improved.
