Karachi (HRNW)- An 11-year-old fourth-grade student reportedly drowned while swimming in a pool during a school picnic at a water park and farmhouse in Gadap Town, Karachi.
According to details, the incident occurred at Sunrise Water Park and Farmhouse on Satani Road, within the jurisdiction of Gadap City Police Station. The girl’s body was transported to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in a Chhipa ambulance, where she was identified as Haneza, daughter of Fayyaz Shah.
Gadap City SHO Mumtaz Marwat said Haneza was a fourth-grade student at Green Flag Public School in Chanesar Goth, Mahmoodabad.
The police officer said the student had visited the water park for a school picnic along with fellow students and school staff members when she drowned while swimming in the pool.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident and are examining the circumstances surrounding the child’s drowning during the school outing.
