Lahore (HRNW)– A significant development took place on Friday at the Lahore District Courts in the ongoing case involving the alleged illegal promotion of online gambling applications.
YouTuber Saqib Rehman, popularly known as Ducky Bhai, along with his wife Aroob Jatoi, appeared before Judicial Magistrate Naeem Wattoo during the latest hearing.
During the proceedings, the court dismissed the acquittal plea filed by co-accused Subhan, ruling that his request could not be entertained at this stage. The court then adjourned the hearing until December 17, summoning all accused — including Ducky Bhai — for framing of charges on the next date.
Addressing the judge, Ducky Bhai clarified that Subhan had only joined his team three months prior to his own arrest and was employed on a salary of one lakh rupees. He insisted that Subhan had no connection with the alleged offence.
The court also inquired about Aroob Jatoi’s legal status, to which the defense counsel confirmed that she had already secured pre-arrest bail.

In another submission, Ducky Bhai’s lawyer stated that they had filed a petition seeking the return of confiscated items, including electronic devices, mobile phones held by the NCCIA, four credit cards, and certain amounts of cash.
It is worth noting that Ducky Bhai was released on bail just two days earlier. The NCCIA has registered the case and continues its investigation against all accused.
