Uttar Pradesh Police Detain Two Over Viral Claim of ‘Made in Pakistan’ Label on Madrasa Fan

Uttar Pradesh (HRNW)- Police in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh have detained two people for allegedly claiming that a fan at a madrasa had a “Made in Pakistan” label on it. According to local police officials, the matter came to light when a picture of a fan went viral on social media, claiming that it had a “Made in Pakistan” label on it. After this, some quarters demanded a full investigation into the incident.

During the investigation, the police said that the said fan was actually purchased from Saudi Arabia, and initial suspicions were proven wrong.

According to officials, two people, including the manager of the madrasa, were detained for questioning, but later, the case was forwarded for further investigation after the situation became clear during the initial investigation.
