Karachi to Face 48-Hour Water Shortage Due to Dhabeji Pumping Station Work

Karachi (HRNW)- Citizens have been advised to conserve water and use it carefully as work is being started from tomorrow to connect the new transmission line at Karachi’s Dhabeji Pumping Station to the main line system, which will cause a water shortage of 250 million gallons per day for 48 hours.

The Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation said that the work of interconnecting Transmission Line No. 5 under the Karachi Water and Sewerage Services Improvement Project will begin on Saturday, April 25 at 12 noon and will continue till April 27.
