Police Officer Shot and Injured in Targeted Attack in Baghdadi, Lyari

KARACHI: (HRNW) A police officer was injured in a firing incident by unidentified assailants in the Baghdadi area of Lyari on Monday. According to police reports, the officer was in uniform and returning home after completing his duty shift when he was targeted.

The incident occurred near Juna Masjid on Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai Road. Witnesses stated that suspects on a motorcycle opened fire on the officer, hitting him in the leg.

  • Medical Status: He was immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for emergency treatment. Hospital sources report that his condition is currently stable and out of danger.
