Global (HRNW)- Iran has claimed that it targeted the US aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln with missiles and drones, according to reports from Iranian media.
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) stated that the attack was carried out using ballistic missiles and drones, reportedly in response to recent strikes by the United States and Israel. Some reports suggested that four ballistic missiles were launched during the operation.
However, US officials have strongly denied the claim, stating that the aircraft carrier was not damaged and that the missiles did not come close to the vessel. According to American authorities, the carrier continues its military operations as normal.
The situation remains tense as both sides present conflicting statements regarding the incident.
