Lahore (HRNW)– The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Anti-Corruption Circle, Lahore, has made significant progress in a case registered under the Torture and Custodial Death Act. Assistant Superintendent Faisal Imtiaz, previously posted at Kot Lakhpat Jail, has been arrested for allegedly torturing a prisoner during his tenure.
Investigations confirmed that the accused inflicted violence on the complainant, violating custodial rights. Legal proceedings have commenced, and FIA authorities are conducting further inquiries to ensure justice and accountability for custodial abuses.
