Ashgabat, Turkmenistan (HRNW) – The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) have joined regional partners in launching a new initiative to strengthen Caspian Sea environmental monitoring and reduce marine pollution. The programme focuses on improving waste management, protecting biodiversity, and enhancing regional cooperation among Caspian coastal states to support long-term environmental sustainability.
