Ankara, Türkiye (HRNW) – The United Nations has intensified diplomatic efforts to revive negotiations on the Cyprus issue as UN Secretary-General’s Personal Envoy María Ángela Holguín Cuéllar met Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Ankara. The discussions focused on confidence-building measures and prospects for restarting negotiations aimed at achieving a lasting settlement on the divided island. The UN reaffirmed its commitment to supporting dialogue between all parties.
