Islamabad (HRNW): Growing geopolitical tensions have fueled concerns in global financial markets, with oil prices moving higher and stock markets facing renewed pressure. In Pakistan, speculation is also mounting over a possible increase in petrol and diesel prices expected on Monday, pending an official announcement.
Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump’s social media subscription service has drawn public attention. According to reports, his media team has encouraged users to subscribe for a monthly fee, offering early access to Trump’s exclusive posts and announcements before they are made available to the general public.
Commenting on the development, senior journalist Mansoor Ali Khan questioned the implications of investors making stock market decisions based on exclusive access to a political leader’s posts. He argued that such a situation raises important ethical concerns and should not occur in a well-functioning democratic society.
Financial analysts continue to advise investors to base their decisions on verified information, official announcements, and sound market analysis rather than speculation or social media content.
