Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has accused the United States of violating the sovereignty of Iran and Arab countries. Responding to remarks by the Jordanian Foreign Minister, Araqchi questioned whether Jordan was unaware that the US had used the airspace, land and sea borders of Arab countries during its initial attacks, which Iran says resulted in the deaths of innocent Iranian citizens.
Araqchi questioned how much longer Iran should wait before responding to an aggressor that, according to him, respects neither Arab nor Iranian sovereignty. His remarks come amid continuing tensions between Iran and the United States, with Tehran strongly objecting to the use of regional Arab territories and borders for US military operations.
