Karachi (HRNW): According to sources, a sensitive security agency conducted an operation in Karachi’s Azizabad area and reportedly uncovered what is believed to be the city’s largest gutka manufacturing factory.
Sources said the raid resulted in the seizure of a large quantity of finished gutka, raw materials, manufacturing machinery, and packaging equipment. Authorities have also sealed the suspected factory.
The operation was reportedly carried out following a tip-off, with investigators alleging that the facility was being used to manufacture gutka on a large scale and distribute it across different parts of the city.
During the raid, several individuals were taken into custody for questioning, while authorities launched an investigation to identify other members of the alleged production and distribution network.
As of now, no official statement has been issued by the relevant authorities confirming the details of the operation.
