Karachi (HRNW): Unknown armed men opened fire at a builder’s office in Karachi’s FB Area Block 5, following which police have launched an investigation into the incident from multiple angles.
According to initial reports, after the firing incident, a WhatsApp call was made to the office in which the caller allegedly claimed to be associated with the Lyari Gang War and instructed the recipients to establish contact.
Police officials said the nature of the incident, the motive behind the firing, and the authenticity of the WhatsApp call are being examined. Evidence has been collected from the crime scene, while investigators are reviewing CCTV footage and other technical evidence to identify and arrest those involved.
Authorities stated that the motive of the attack and involvement of any specific group cannot be confirmed until the investigation is completed.
