Multan Airport: Fake Resident Card Scam Exposed, Three Passengers and Immigration Official Arrested

Multan (HRNW): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has foiled an attempt by passengers to travel to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) using fake resident cards at Multan Airport.

According to FIA officials, three passengers were offloaded and arrested during the operation, while an immigration official allegedly involved in facilitating their clearance was also taken into custody.

Initial investigations revealed that the suspected fake documents were allegedly provided by agents through WhatsApp. Authorities said further investigations are underway to identify the individuals involved in the preparation and supply of the fraudulent documents.

The arrested individuals have been shifted to the FIA Anti-Human Trafficking Circle for further legal proceedings.
