Karachi (HRNW)- The FIA Corporate Crime Circle carried out a major operation in Malir, Karachi, against an illegal factory involved in the manufacturing of unlicensed medicines, resulting in the arrest of the main accused. According to details, the raid was conducted on the instructions of the Director FIA Karachi Zone, delivering a significant blow to a suspected fake pharmaceutical network. Acting on a tip-off, authorities raided the factory producing medicines without a valid license and arrested the accused, identified as Faisal Shahid, who was found to be the owner and operator of the facility. During the operation, a large quantity of raw materials, finished medicines, and manufacturing machinery was recovered, exposing a large-scale illegal production setup. The seized items were handed over to DRAP authorities for further legal action, while the remaining evidence has been secured under proper procedure. Investigations are ongoing to trace other individuals involved in the network, with efforts being intensified to completely dismantle it.
