Beijing, China (HRNW): China has issued a firm statement declaring its support for Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity amid rising regional tensions.
During a conversation with his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi emphasized that Beijing stands by Tehran in safeguarding its national sovereignty and border integrity. He reiterated that China advocates resolving disputes through dialogue and diplomatic engagement rather than confrontation.
According to the statement, China urged all countries to respect Iran’s sovereignty and territorial boundaries while working collectively to ensure peace and stability in the region. Beijing stressed that escalating tensions would only undermine regional security and global stability.
