Yemeni Army Claims 13 Airstrikes on Houthi Positions

Sana’a (HRNW)- The Yemeni army has claimed to have carried out 13 airstrikes targeting Houthi positions, military vehicles and gatherings in central Yemen.

According to Anadolu, the Yemeni Armed Forces Media Center said the strikes targeted several Houthi positions in the Al-Shariyah, Dhi Na’im, Al-Bayda and Al-Sawadiyah districts of Al-Bayda governorate. The military also claimed that a missile launcher was destroyed during the operation.

In a separate operation in southern Yemen’s Al-Dhale province, the Yemeni army said it destroyed a Houthi command-and-control room and a thermal surveillance system on Mount Nasa along the Maris front.

Officials said the operations were aimed at weakening Houthi military capabilities, command systems and missile installations. No immediate information was provided about possible casualties.

Fighting between Houthi and government forces has intensified in recent days, raising concerns over a possible return to large-scale conflict in Yemen.
