Islamabad (HRNW) — Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Capital Police Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi has ordered a complete audit and physical verification of all police wireless communication sets to make the system more effective, transparent, and accountable.
According to police sources, the Islamabad Police chief directed officials to prepare updated records of all wireless equipment, identify missing, unregistered, or inactive sets, and submit a detailed report after determining responsibility where required.
During a meeting, recent police encounters, the use of weapons, and related cases were also reviewed in detail. The IGP emphasized that every police action must remain within the framework of law and follow principles of transparency, accountability, and professionalism.
He directed officers to ensure effective use of police resources, strengthen internal accountability mechanisms, and guarantee the protection of citizens’ lives and property under all circumstances.
