Tehran (HRNW)- Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi has said that Tehran has suspended the commitments made under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding for a ceasefire and negotiations with the United States.
In an interview with the Iranian news agency Fars News, Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said that Iran has suspended all commitments made under the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
He stated that the United States had violated and suspended all of its obligations under the framework of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding.
Kazem Gharibabadi added that Iran has also suspended its commitments, is no longer implementing them, and is instead focusing on defending the country.
Earlier, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that Iran would defend every inch of its territory and would give a full response to any American aggression.
