WHO Marks 25 Years of Research4Life, Expanding Global Access to Scientific Knowledge

Geneva, Switzerland (HRNW) – The World Health Organization (WHO) has marked the 25th anniversary of the Research4Life initiative, celebrating a quarter-century of expanding access to scientific research for low- and middle-income countries. The programme now supports institutions in more than 120 countries, helping researchers, universities, healthcare professionals, and policymakers access millions of scientific publications to strengthen public health and innovation. WHO described the initiative as a major step toward reducing global knowledge inequality.
