Iran Says War with US Will End Only After Achieving Battlefield Superiority

Tehran (HRNW)- Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi has said that the war with the United States will end only when Iran achieves superiority on the battlefield and secures its national interests.

According to media reports, Abbas Araqchi stated that the conflict will end only after Iran attains a level of victory that guarantees the protection of its national interests.

Araqchi said Iran’s strategy is that any future negotiations will only take place once the country has gained effective superiority on its own terms on the battlefield.

On the other hand, the United States maintains that it prefers a diplomatic solution but reserves the right to take action to defend its national security and its allies.

It is worth noting that both countries have recently exchanged attacks on key military targets, while the United Nations and several countries have repeatedly called for restraint, a ceasefire, and renewed negotiations.
