Islamabad (HRNW)- The Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has made significant progress in the case related to the PTI’s November 26 protest involving alleged attacks on Rangers personnel by dismissing accused Hashim Abbasi’s application to appear before a medical board.
Anti-Terrorism Court Judge Tahir Abbas Supra heard the case. During the proceedings, the judge observed that, according to the medical board’s report, the accused’s mental condition is sound.
The court remarked that the accused is fit to stand trial and summoned additional prosecution witnesses for the next hearing.
During the proceedings, it was informed that the statements of five prosecution witnesses have been recorded in the case so far.
The court adjourned further hearing of the case until July 27. The case against the accused is registered at Ramna Police Station.
