Karachi (HRNW)- Funeral prayers for Rangers official Abdul Qadeer, who was killed during an attack on Rangers personnel in Karachi, were offered in Noor Porthal, where thousands of citizens, security officials, and people from different walks of life gathered to pay their respects.
According to officials, Abdul Qadeer lost his life while confronting the attackers during the incident. Following the funeral prayers, a smartly turned-out contingent of the Pakistan Rangers presented a guard of honor, and he was laid to rest with full military honors.
Emotional scenes were witnessed during the funeral when the martyr’s one-and-a-half-year-old son was brought to bid a final farewell to his father. The sight moved many mourners to tears.
Participants paid tribute to the courage and sacrifice of Abdul Qadeer and expressed solidarity with Pakistan’s security forces in their efforts to combat terrorism.
