Washington (HRNW)- US President Donald Trump has said that he wants a deal with Iran that will last for a long time and no decision will be made in a hurry.
Speaking to the media at the White House, President Trump claimed that the US has complete control over the Strait of Hormuz issue and if an agreement is reached with Iran, the Strait of Hormuz will be reopened.
He said that the US is giving Iran a better deal and wants a permanent solution through negotiations. According to Trump, trade activities in the region will improve if an agreement is reached.
President Trump also claimed that Iran’s trade activities have been affected due to the closure of the Strait of Hormuz. He said that he does not have complete information about Iran’s leadership and that the country is currently suffering from internal problems. He further claimed that the US has achieved up to 75 percent of its goals in Iran, however, these claims could not be confirmed by independent sources.
