Two Killed in Shireen Jinnah Colony Firing Over Monetary Dispute

KARACHI (HRNW): At least two people were shot dead during a violent clash in the Shireen Jinnah Colony area of Karachi on Wednesday. According to the Keamari Police, the incident was the result of a long-standing personal dispute between relatives.

Police officials revealed that the victims and the suspects are closely related as maternal uncles and nephews. The two parties had been involved in a prolonged conflict over financial transactions. The situation escalated during a ‘Jirga’ (tribal council) held today to resolve the matter, leading to a heated argument and subsequent gunfire.

The deceased have been identified as Kamran and Sartaj. Following the incident, the Keamari Police acted swiftly to arrest two suspects, identified as Bilal and Asad. The arrested individuals have been shifted to the police station for further legal proceedings and interrogation. Investigation into the incident is ongoing to determine the exact sequence of events that led to the fatal shooting.
