A major scandal of the Sharif government has come to light

Lahore (HRNW) Two hundred vehicles were registered by declaring vehicles smuggled from the border as imported vehicles and conducting a fake auction show – no advertisement was issued, no auction was held and no duty was collected – the national treasury was embezzled billions of rupees.

The details are as follows: whenever a vehicle is imported from abroad, it arrives at Karachi Port. If the importer is unable to pay the duty within the stipulated period, the customs department advertises the auction of the vehicle. Then the auction is held and the vehicle is given to the person who pays the duty and pays the required amount. The relevant Excise and Taxation office is asked to register the vehicle because the duty has been paid.

But according to reports, four people including DG Reforms and Additional Collector took two hundred smuggled vehicles from the border and showed that they were imported but their duty could not be paid, so they were auctioned, the duty was paid, so the relevant Excise and Taxation Office was asked to register these vehicles and surprisingly, these two hundred vehicles were registered. These two hundred vehicles were not imported, but were smuggled from the Afghan border. The national treasury has been embezzled billions of rupees. There are allegations that a very big personality is behind all this and this scandal will be suppressed.

Earlier, it was revealed that 8,000 containers were imported through fake LCs, but no action was taken. Similarly, the GD permit and complete record change of 700 containers going from the seaport to the dry port were also revealed, but nothing happened. According to reports, the same team is involved in these three scandals.
